Sthenic This body habitus has the highest rate of occurrence. Accounts for 50% of population.
Asthenic This body habitus belongs to frail individuals. Represents 10% of the population. Gallbladder is low and nearer the midline; the stomach is low and medial. The hear is nearly vertical at the midline.
Hyposthenic A body habitus that is the most difficult to identify. Accounts for 35% of the population. Normal organ placement.
Hypersthenic Has the lowest rate of occurrence. Represents 5% of the population. Has a high gallbladder and a high transverse stomach.
